   Summary

   Clervie always longed for freedom. Peruere, on the other hand, thought she could silently endure Crucabena's cruelty and make it out someday with her lover. They always said they would travel the world together and go see the aurora in Snezhnaya, but they had to escape first.

   Their years at the House were plagued with blood and cruelty, but they stood out in each other's memories like Rainbow Roses in a barren field.

   Nothing in the world came free to Peruere except the love that burned in her heart for Clervie.
