    In a reflective absence, the survivors have changed: Gorrister has regained hope; Nimdok, memory; Benny, humanity; Ellen, autonomy; and Ted, perhaps, sanity. But the computer still has an ace up its sleeve.

    Human suffering has always been AM’s specialty, and now it prepares its most ambitious performance yet: an orchestrated chorus of suffering whose interpretation hides its purpose. Acting as both musician and listener, it will do anything to archive what it has incessantly been craving for.
