Summary
To truly know someone is to differentiate between who they once were, who they are now, and who they're capable of being. Hermione realises the duality of one man as she rectifies what she knows of the past and begins to understand the pieces of who Draco Malfoy is now: a father, a son, and a man.

Bookmarker's Notes
This story details love and grief so beautifully. Narcissa’s disease reminds me of my grandmother, I can’t help but see her in the character. I love how the characters struggle with love and grief, like two sides of the same coin. Each character has lost someone but they continue to move on and heal, but it doesn’t negate the love they had and still have. I also love the portrayal of how love, attention, and respect can change everything for a child who is struggling. Everyone in this work chnages and grows, no one feels static.
