Robert Robertson III spent seven years believing the Mecha Man suit was the only extraordinary thing about him-the tech, the mission, the legacy, the perfect hero, the perfect soldier, the perfect legacy bearer for a family that never lived past forty. Summary
Soulmates find each other when marks are left behind.
Flambae's fingers got cut off, and his side of the bond flared to life. Sent to prison with a one sided bond and knowing his soulmate is the man who put him there, he's still not sure if he wants to live. But one thing he does know is this bitch in his head is just depressing.
Also known as: Flambae's journey to being somewhat ok, and falling in love with the man in the suit.

Sonic is a tired, almost forty-something single mom who smells like sugar, works too much, and really did not plan on developing a crush on someone who keeps “coincidentally” showing up wherever he works. Shadow is a twenty-year-old, quiet med student, and absolutely down bad for the curvy hedgehog who keeps feeding him coffee, cupcakes, and accidental emotional intimacy.
Or: Sonic thinks he’s too old to be somebody’s real obsession… Shadow very much disagrees.

Summary
Macaque comes back to life over a thousand years after his death and immediately decides he wants nothing to do with Sun Wukong ever again. Unfortunately, not seeking revenge on the Great Sage makes his second life only minutely less stressful. He's incredibly weak from his impromptu resurrection, the Lady Bone Demon wants to collect his debt to her, and on top of that, Sun Wukong seems intent on hunting him down.
With practically no magic left, unwilling to go back to the Diyu, and refusing to help in destoying the world, Macaque flees. Maybe if he continues to be slippery enough, Wukong, his new stupidly optimistic successor and his friends, and the Lady Bone Demon will leave him alone.
In hindsight, it's laughable to think he could escape them.
