“What happened?” Abolish asked, taking in the sight of the broken doctor standing stone-faced in front of him
Legundo gestured to the body in the man’s arms, wrapped in wool and linen.
“He happened.”
Everyone seemed to go still at the realisation of what this meant.
AU where Owen takes the cure that Abolish offers him, and immediately falls ill. Something to do with having a billion crippling illnesses and also having been dead for 200 years.
Unfortunately for Owen, the only doctor in town is the guy he kinda sorta brutally murdered not an hour before.
Understandably, Legundo isn’t happy about having to take care of his sire. -

His voice trembles. He doesn’t care. “NO! GET AWAY FROM ME!”
The grip doesn’t loosen. Another hand clamps around his waist.
Legundo twists, desperate to see who it is. Some part of him already knows. He just wants to know it isn’t the vision of an afflicted brain.
Owen stares back, blood dripping down his chin.
“What are you playing at?” Owen whispers, his voice dangerously low. A shiver runs through Legundo before he can stop it.

“This hay wagon thing was a good plan,” Joey said to Sausage.
The two men were pushing a wheelbarrow to Mythland, and were trying to make conversation with each other.
“It was actually his idea,” Sausage commented causally, motioning at one of the lumps in the hay, with a few dirty pieces of blue fabric poking out.
“Huh,” Joey responded. “That's crazy, man.”
The situation was a bit awkward, as the trip back from kidnappings can be.
Or, Joey and Sausage kidnap Gem and Scott (chapter one kinda comes across as gem-salt, its not i promise)
