Summary
The drive with Vernon was the coldly silent type, this time. Harry stared out the window as the car bore him away from the magical world and felt the numbness begin to creep over him. He hated it here, of course. But what he hated most of all was the feeling of helplessness. He couldn’t do anything. He could only… exist, and wait for the summer to end.
If I could just... vanish, Harry thought idly.
For some reason the idea caught in his mind, like a jagged fingernail on fabric.
I- I really could disappear. One corner of his mouth quirked. I even have the cloak for it.
He pressed his head hard against the car window frame and pretended he was elsewhere. Anywhere else. Forever.

Summary
When Hari Potter is seven years old, the kid from Number 3 Privet Drive is caught with a secret pet snake that sends his mother into a fury. She is incensed by the abomination that he’s hidden in her home for so long, and she promptly releases the beast outside. Hari is outside pruning Aunt Petunia’s rose bushes when this occurs, sweating and half-delirious underneath the sweltering summer sun. He, understandably, thinks that he's hallucinating when a snake comes up to him and starts talking.
This young ball python has felt the call of a speaker’s magic ever since she was brought to Little Whinging. The second that she is freed, she seeks out the young speaker with magic that warms her to her bones, and she refuses to be separated from him no matter what.
She is the first serpent to claim Hari Potter as her own, but she is not the last. And a Hari Potter that is raised by snakes is a very different Hari Potter indeed.

Summary
When Harry first joined the wizarding world, he did everything he was supposed to do. He sorted to Gryffindor, he was part of the Golden Trio and he was willing to die to defeat the man that had killed his parents. Unfortunately all that got him were seven uncomfortable years leading to an even more uncomfortable conversation with Dumbledore after he had apparently died. But while Harry was still considering his options between staying dead and Dumbledore's suggestion of somehow returning to finally defeat Voldemort once and for all, a third path was presented that would give him the chance to choose a different road to take on the day he'd first learned that Magic existed.

Summary
There were very few things in Harry Potter's life that he was certain of. There was one absolute certainty though; he'd felt it in his bones for as long as he could remember. He, Harry Potter, was dead. The living people around him might not believe, but the dead sure did. Oh well, it doesn't impact his life much. Besides, it's nice to get help with his schoolwork from his parents.

Summary
There's a ripple in the not-air in front of him, and then a white text inside a rectangle border appears. It's like an Animus inventory screen. It tells him, in bold white letters…
[YOU HAVE DIED!]
"... oh," Desmond answers the text. "Well, that's a bummer."
