Summary
Lena casts her mind around for the last time she felt this unmoored, this off-balance, by a woman, and can't come up with anything. Kara Danvers is unlike anybody that Lena has ever met; the sweetest, bubbliest person Lena’s yet to come across, and simultaneously one of the saddest, who is probably lying to everyone that she meets. It’s an impossible contradiction to wrap your head around, and Lena should probably stop hiding in this bathroom and trying.
(Or, Kara and Lena get parent-trapped into a relationship by a goofy little alien.)

A long time ago, Maleficent lost a child. When Regina finds out that child was hers too, she turns to Emma for comfort. Emma doesn't know how she can help either of them with their grief, but she's going to try because no one should have to go through that alone.
Past Dragon Queen. Swan Queen. Magical pregnancy, Emma and Maleficent bonding over their love of Regina. Regina learning she can create, not just destroy.
No real mentions of Hook or Robin Hood because they're not important to this story. They exist, they're just off doing something else nice.

Emma almost has everything. She's got a wonderful son, a beautiful, tender friend and co-parent, and a family she can count on. It was all she ever dreamed of, once upon a time. At times, she thinks she finally understands what authors mean when they end their story with: they lived happily ever after.
But the feeling always leaves her by the morning. Sometimes she thinks her real happy ending has disappeared somewhere in the past, somewhere in between the curses and forgotten memories. And now it is only a possibility lost to her memories.
If she could go back...

Summary
Although the film itself was fictional...some points were made. Good points. Good points that actually explained a lot more about her wife than any of the various diagnoses she had come up with through the years. Perhaps, for once, reality was truly stranger than fiction...
Or, Trish is smarter than the average rabbit, and, with a little bit of help from an unlikely source, realizes maybe her wife is maybe touch sensitive. Except that's like totally impossible. Right?

Neal's smile widens, and he kicks his legs in glee. "'Cause you're my family!" he crows, looking around the room at everyone. "And you love me."
Regina shares a look with Emma, eyes crinkling as her smile deepens. "Of course I do," she says.
"And you love mommy, and daddy, and Henry, and Emma, and Roland," he states, still kicking his legs.
"Yes, dear," Regina says fondly.
"Why aren't you married to Emma?"
Emma chokes on air at the question, turning her head to look at the boy with wide eyes. Regina is similarly taken aback, grasping for words.
