An extremely well managed and balanced Hermione-centric What If fic, with wonderful characterizations that feel organic, but just a tad more proactive than canon. Big on Family Magics, Noble House Politics, actually USING family money and influence, diving into and questioning magical histories and traditions, and giving Harry an actual family built on the idea that they actually want what's best For him, not just From him.
Covers the summer after Fourth year so far, and is starting into Fifth.

The author is so correct, we can never have enough time traveling Draco fics.
A unique premise leads into a very nuanced, fun, and compelling take on the time-travel fix-it trope. Excellent characterizations and dialogue, lack of character bashing makes me cry happy tears, and we also get to indulge in moments of satisfying character competency without it feeling like an unrealistic power fantasy.
Year three rewrite done, four more years are planned for the series.

Scratches my constant itch for CombatUnit content, including gratuitous amounts of construct/MI interaction, support, friendship, and found family vibes. An absolutely fascinating (horifying) take on CombatUnit physiology/protocol and the consequent trauma, paired with a bright delightful bean of a personality. The usual amount of deeply satisfying construct competency and sardonic internal monologs.
UPDATE: THERE'S A SECOND COMBAT UNIT AND HE'S AWFUL (I LOVE HIM)
