Summary
Jimmy is a wanderer trying to find his place to belong. Used to taking care of himself and not being able to count on others he decides to spend the night in a village that he felt was off. Turns out the villagers figured they could use the wander to solve their monster problem.
Tango is a fire spirit traveling the world and filling his days with distractions so he doesn't have to think about how lonely he is. He has friends and family he can visit with but longs for a companion that can accept both sides of his nature. His dating attempts had always ended in heartbreak however so for now he had sworn off even trying.
When the two of them meet sparks fly but the challenge is that Tango can understand and somewhat write Jimmy's language but can't speak it. Jimmy can't understand Tango's language at all.

Summary
Impulse isn't sure if he can handle working as a barista but at least he gets to work with his bestie Tango. The only problem is that he is a massive shipper thanks to his sister Gem ruining him on BL/yaoi manga.
He notices how excited Tango gets to see one of the regulars each day. The regular, Jimmy was an office intern and was often sent on coffee runs. Impulse could work with that, whether Tango wanted him to or not.
Meanwhile Skizz’s love life is cursed. Every relationship he has ever had ended with him as the short end of a love triangle. He totally wasn’t bitter about it either. He was just going to focus on his career and not dating.
Only the new barista at his favorite cafe is just so cute and fun to talk to. He definitely didn’t start going there twice a day just to see him. Who told you that? Impulse just made the coffee really good.
Then he hears Jimmy, talking about the cutest barista at the cafe and how he thinks the barista might have a thing for him too. Skizz realizes he’s in another love triangle because objectively Impulse is the cutest. Jimmy couldn’t be talking about anyone else.

Oyakodon is a Japanese rice dish that translates as Parent and Child rice bowl because it has both chicken and eggs.
This work is a mixed collection of stories from through the HSJB timeline that all are about parenthood and parent child relationships. Chapter one is currently the earliest thing in this time line and chapter 5 will be the latest.
I am rating this M but only the 3rd chapter really has that rating. Chapters 1 and 2 are very much G rated and are the only prologue chapters 4 and 5 are rated T. The chapters are in chronological order.

Tango has to face this concept head on because it's his reality. A reality that has dragged on for far too long. He's met and lost too many people in his life. Yet he still hasn't met the one that will allow him to reach his actual (government acknwoledged) ninteenth birthday.
Jimmy hasn't been eighteen for too terribly long, but every time he witnesses someone meet their other half, it gets him a little more excited for the day he meets his own.
Nothing is as straight forward as it seems- right?

Summary
His mind summons up the memory of Impulse and Skizz explaining how their soulbond works, and he freezes, grip tightening on his mug as the gears in his mind turn. That can’t be it, right? They had to do some sort of complicated ritual-ification to link their souls together, and Tango’s pretty sure he would’ve noticed if he’d gotten involved in a ritual in his sleep. Probably.
Or : Somehow, Zedaph and Tango end up with their souls magically tied to Impulse and Skizz, and Tango has a harder time than usual ignoring his feelings for them.
