“Naegi,” she says. He swallows a wheeze of air. “I’ll go with you. You have to look.”
“Don’t make me,” he pleads, and knows he’s already lost.
Kirigiri saves Naegi over, and over, and over again, so of course he thinks nothing of dying for her. That’s just the kind of person he is.
