The problem with the word feeling was it was used as though the common meaning was obvious. Andrew did not know whether he liked his boots, his running shoes, his slippers, the falling apart sandals. He knew he liked to be an inch taller. Like is a feeling, Bee’s voice floated into his mind.
Boring. But whatever. So boots, then. And he would spend the day examining how he felt about stomping around in ridiculous overpriced black boots.
That is if Neil stopped talking for long enough to let his mind float around.
