Izuku is safe, now that he lives with Shouta-san. He is looked after, protected, thought of. Shouta-san teaches him what it is to have a safe home, and what it is to be given a voice once again.It makes trusting the man more than worth it.

Shouta-san explains every single movement he's going to make before he makes them, clearly enough that Izuku isn't startled when the hero does it, that he could ask him not to if he wanted to. He always does, that first time and every one since. He never lets Izuku feel trapped, or touches him without prior permission.
He's just irrevocably good. Izuku adores him for it.
