Hughie a big fan of comic books and superheroes got into a superhero themed novel, The Rise of America's Hero, Homelander. Which instantly became his favorite of all time. As he finished reading the ending of the story, he accidentally got into an accident and died. The last thing he saw before the world fades to black was the back of the hero in the book. What he didn't expect is to survive and woke up in a child's room. Another thing, is that he seemed to have traveled into his favorite book and in the future his character is going to be part of a terrorist group.
Hughie is frozen in place. In front of him a blonde boy looking as if he'd escaped a hospital is digging a hole in the middle of nowhere. When the boy turn to look at him, Hughie's heart suddenly missed a beat and a second later it dropped. This... is the kid that's going to kill him in the future.
When he accidentally turned into another person, Hughie realised he has shapeshifting powers which was never mentioned in the book. Could he use it to his advantage?
