    They say there was nothing they could have done, they didn’t have “suitable quirks”.

    Izuku’s anger fuels his need to show them that your quirk, or lack there of, shouldn’t stop you from saving a life.

    He loses more and more of himself as he speeds towards the next fight, the next villain. All in the hopes of keeping his dead friends dream alive.

    Will it all come crashing down around him? Will he lose himself completely and become nothing more than a shell of his former self? Or will he find people in this life who are willing to help him back to the surface before he drowns?

    chapters?: 37/? \\\ SPOILERS BE WARE/// okay so i dont knwo WHERE to start this is so GOOD! okay so izu and kat grew up together, besties, brothers. katsuki died in the sludge villain attack as heros DIDNT 'let' izuku run in(they stopped him) so yeh. izuku swapped to online and to a new dojo for sparring cuz katsukis death really is PAINFUL.keeps imagining he is there. izuku didnt want to be a hero instead and analyst. after Katsukis death he realized there never will be num1 hero GroundZero and that Kat and his dream would've died. as izu does, he decided to be a underground hero and sorta live out kats dreams.at some point he becomes a vigilante. joins the ihateallmight discord, hitoshi runs it, neito is in it. oh. new dojo has: tail dude, kendo, setsuna, invisaline(toru), hitoshi, neito, few other future 1b classmates. Neito and Izuku are clearly into eachother, izu opened up to nei, also Hitoshi is the best 3rd wheel ever:3
    inko is trying to be a good supportive mom, Mitsuki and izu sobbed together in kats room, kats secret hero notebook made for izu was shared-after meeting the cool swirly eye vigilante and verifying again izu 'isnt' gonna commit die-THEN they meet at cat cafe again,(this the third wheeling)ahem then head over to hitoshis house and meet hizashi and shouta (le dads). neito is a theater kid. yes. perfection. izu and nei are toshis only friends confirmed. hizashi scared hitoshi by QUACKING AT HIM(while the trio were playing horror VR) and apparently hitoshi is terrified of ducks? whelp. OH YEAH JUST MET SHOUTA AKA ERASERHEAD at din din. started talking abt that new vigilante who popped up(izu)and nei and izu both thought how BAD+/SKREWED izuku is/were. hitoshi eavesdropping on nei and izu sobbing in room earlier too:'/ sorry future me for readinf this chaos. anyways i love this literary art now. Hitoshi knows izuku is a vigilante now, and pinky promised not to tell his dads(or nair is added to shampoo by neito)and izuku and neito are so GAY and IN LOVE with eachother omg- izu is oblivious;- ; Shouta recognized izuku (gave hito heart attack1st)from the sludge villain, amd hito mentioned izu and katsuki were besties- and sadness- also aware to not bring up assmight meowxD OH YEAH ANGSTY TIME! izuku realized he would've kms'd if not for neito, hitoshi and swirly eyes?(name literally being civilian in english/Minkan Hito\). izuku got more gear to avoid getting recognized by eraser(ty izukus fav vigilante).also inko is asking/demanding to meet izukus friends? Mitsuki is relieved-and like? my hear-ahem. izuku went on patrol and!!!! Shouta saved 'null' izuku from the Mud Villain(whom essentially same quirk as sludgy when coverd in water) izuku ran away after a few seconds of being grounded, ans in his possible dying moments KNEW he doesn't sant to die especially cause he knows how painful it'd be from everyone. (gotta love how izu used all his luck to meet nei and hitoshi...)As izuku is clearly traumatized calls the one person he wanted to talk to most- Neito! at like 1-2am >:D also they're so adorable... neitos family? preciously great, inko? pffft how lovely(and funny LOL) about izukus midnight post patrol showers... which she thought was nightterror clear head timeT~ T. also Nei comforting izuku despite him being smelly... precious... i applaud him so much cuz like I PROLLY WOULDNT HAVE BEEN ABLE TOO- so like he must be in deep for feels of friendship+loveee- ahem. anyways imma just wait for more:D neito is apparently terrifying when genuinely frustrated/angy, and is a angy crier oh no- adorable yet required to note. inko slept again! izuku went over to neitos for lunch too a! after learning of neitos hobby(art museum of godly and possibly some hilarious works) they finally are baking together! nobody:
    izuku:*burns image of neito in an apron lookin cute and happily confident while baking- (izu also followin like a duckie omg xD)annnd Anka(younger sis,7yo)got home- oh no...the chaos i can see happening...Revelry in the Dark...Nei's dad's name is Yuma! oh my slowburn- nei got his dad to make katsudon for dinner cuz izu was staying over;- ; my heart aches from that oh my- annd Sora(neis mum quirk doc!) has joined for dinner~ oh my galaxies that was such a nice din din and izu realized the differences between them and others(being good people ouch but hek yah) but i love how izuku knows he loves neitos family- like!!! they seem to all have a good impression-based on nei asking his fam what they thought! izuku visited Kat's grave+caught up, neitos adorable for izuku+izu's bak at dojo! nervous Inko+Hitoshi ahaah thankfully cleared up LOL but yeah Neito makes a mental promise to make sure zu doesnt give up his dreams while izu showed his room! DIN DIN SHENANIGANS OH MY COSMOS THAT WAS GREAT- also ZUKU SAID HE'd GO 2 THERAPY!!! Neito stitched up Null,ty YT tut, oh my cosmos- Tree-toshi+scarecrow-nei! Fueki=gud therapist:) zu saved shoto as vigi now friends ooc too, friendshippp!

    izuku was gonna kill himself on THE roof but it was midnight and he saw stain and tried to stop a murder of a hero juniper, met detective Tsukauchi, detective almost went insane cuz if how smart izuku is, and how izu only lied when mum in room abt what he was gonna do on roof- ahem.
    izuku met stain more times after that, stain knows allmight is against quirkless ppl's dreams of heroics, semi friendship(its slowly building)between him+izuku.
    Nedzu had the police confiscate all zuku's hero analysis, not long after he gave them his most recent(13) ahem. anyways zuku swapped to online school after 1 therapy appointment(naomasa advised to inko that izuku to go to one without telling the roof thing, but 2 villian attacks=needez therapy) ahem.
    izuku graduated early in knline passed UA exam flying colors and is under nedzu, but actually officially working with police force now! after Stain, Naomasa is THE FIRST TO SAY IZUKU CAN BE A HERO! 1st to say knowing izuku's quirkless tho;) (stain 1st to praise izuku for just trying and not being just good at stuff
    ...) anyways i live for Naomasa+Izuku friendship and/or mentor vibes? Hitoshi sat by izuku during UA gen-ed exams same for anither OC:)
    Nedzu casually showing iff izukus exam to first who asks, Tsukauchi casually calling izuku to tell his results, (izuku with stain when anxiously yet casually picking up the phone), more ppl seeing his test+scores, Nedzu also saying that izuku will be escorted to school daily by Eraserhead- Izuku got a 87 on Nedzu's HELL TEST- BAHAHAHAHA YESSSSS! 'Erasermic >:0 THE HELL TEST?' ps im enjoying the vibes thus far:)
    izuku at beach beating himself up for not being at USJ and doing less than how he figured it you hefore the jam got bad cuz 'masa wanted zawa, ahem anyways met stain on dagaboa beach and now has another person to train him' mmm yummy how entertaining a seriel killer training a 'pure hero' LMAO Ahem. poor zuku, but yay zuku! poor zawa cuz Nomu go *BAM. Allmight wormed his way into Nedzu and izuku's lunch to offer OFA, and ofc duh Izuku said no and was disgusted. yay izuku passsed his commission test thing only 12pts below nedzu's initial score! and now got promotef from student to PI(police investigator) and UA wise FUTURE UA PRINCIPAL?(scratch that) Nedzu hired izuku Independently
    IZUKU STOOD UP TO BAKUGOU(realized doesnt owe him shit) AT THE BK RESIDENCE THINKIN STAIN'd BE PROUD! and like AAA PARENTAL STAIN AND izuku now has a special phone from 'dad':D ahem anyways case against stain developed darkly(wasn't stains kill), izuku's first UA job is intelligence during Sports Festival, aka... ideas.
    izuku found out(through camera footage, that the pro found brutally murdered raped someone not long before getting killed by a guy... izuku heard(but not saw cuz no cams in that alley) the whole Rape that "pro" did... and ofc distressed Called Tsukauchi at 1:40-somethin in the mornin. First All Might, then Tsuragamae(covered up the pro's evil deeds and lied saying it was stain for HPSC)...btw stain was like 'why am i blamed for dis1?' izu is also frustrated.
    Izuku finally told his mom everything! far back as a bit before what he was gonna do on THE Rooftop. She is proud of Izuku+'s plan on making thr public aware the truth if the case in a backed up way. She is going to tell Mitsuki abt Bakugou's actions, and is ready to dish out some srs punishment which has Izuku+UA involved to attempt redeeming bk. Inko and Izuku hugged:) stain+zuku talk plan, yk ingenium but on purpose AND letting him live after saying 'i didnt kill him' 10/10 xD. Nedzu+Izu cacklesxD+zuku meddling(todo) which went super well! even got to give a business card(asked4 one). TENSEI IS IN ON IZUKUS EXPOSE POLICE 4 COVERING IT UP PLAN! for the victims sake...
    ps this fic gives me life xD.
    Note2Self reread at some point cuz AHAHAH this is golden in epicness and serotonin.
    Izuku-Sensei gave amazing and engaging lessons at UA the students love him and are improving leaps and bounds! behest to izu for quirks centered lessons with main teachers relevant as he has yet the teaching license they enjoyed them too:) the students only dont tent listen when izuku wants them to call him 'san' instead of 'sensei' xD anyways izuku and Chizome's relationship progressed feeling akin to brothers kinda they said and yeah.

    Midoriya Izuku, 28 years old, one half of the team that makes up Dioscuri. Entirely quirkless, he is the first and possibly only, quirkless pro hero.

    Nedzu, the other half of the team that makes up Dioscuri. With the quirk High Specs that granted him increased intelligence. He is the only non-human pro hero in all of the world.

    Alone, these two would have never made it into the profession. With quirkless being less and less common with each generation; Izuku was never given any opportunity to follow his dream. Nedzu, being a chimera, wouldn’t have been able to get far on his own. The system was twisted in favor of humans only; animals couldn’t legally be heroes. Alone they were cast out of society.

    Together they formed the pro-hero and principle of Yuuei High School: Dioscuri.

    Or: the AU where Nedzu and Izuku fake being one hero so that they can utterly wreck the commission for denying their dreams.

    Izuku+Nedzu are family only select few knowing the duo to be so. Namely Inko as per the three being a mini family starting from izuku finding beaten and battered nedzu while looking for his bag getting bit once before heading home with Nedzu in his arms. Inko of course helped izuku the anxious mess a first year middleschooler(?) at the time. Dioscuri rarely adjourning(taking off/parting with) their principal outfit put on their Hero Gear: Joint Costume Zeta! i loved the way the author provided insight on how they communicate(&collaborate) unknown to the public as per front, with not only why they're so respected but also the steps and discrimination on the way without takin too long and providing much shenanigans and detail on the way Izu+Nedzu pull everything off. Dioscuri: Teacher and Hero achieving both dreams to change the fucked up system step by step as the Principal of UA.
    Dioscuri Fired Yagi Toshinori the massive stupid dundering idiot who they found out aftwr information gathering after the USJ attack had downloaded+saved very detailed information on his personal laptop not the ones provided for staff. Izuku and Nedzu Separated to figure out everything they could in separate circles the massive information network beyond the usual hero/hero agency one. All Ties cut to the HPSC through some solo badassery, and Nedzu's side of information searching on his side in his network telephone of many different animals that took a long time to establish. Dioscuri is fucking awesome and his staff got crudely awakened when calling him on duty when warned not to unless urgent.
    ps: at USJ hitoshi nearly died(between eraser+nomu(also day 1 mineta casually expelled after izuku walked in w/ shinsou, threw a book at shouta(didnt dodge lol) and said expel whoever you want cuz there was supposed to be space)) izuku apologized to hitoshi after commision meetin n tie cutting, then later was announced 1st years sports fest+stuff cancelled(reason call from US Staff/teachers).
    hosu? dioscuri went to hosu by plane with Shouta+shinsou, left the two in the plane he was flying- whilst they figured it out they was calculating a opportune fall and once in the fight iida made mido see RED with rage at thr fact of all the things iida IMPLIED behind his words that his PRO HERO TEACHER couldnt fight onw guy or save to protect him and todoroki... thus a fuckup as he couldnt hear Nedzu in rage and lost an arm- todo then swapped to endeavor cauterized the spot (thats now missing an appendage) before it made him bleed out. Izuku to protect Dioscuri's secret(to not face more discrimination) didnt get any medical help!:( and now we at school doin the mess clean up and prep for summer camp. hpsc fucking sucks, Hitoshi offically transferred but is traumatized over how Dioscuri(izuku) lost an arm(iida's fault), the sus of a traitor being a student in 1-A grows, the training canp has areived day 13 LOV attacked.

    this is a work of a art majority is rewritten writter clearly had fun with it. inko had izuku mis-diagnosed quirkless on purpose to hide from AFO she and hisashi are siblings nana is big dead big sis shimura, grandfather works fir hpsc-> inko is disabled asf cuz dr Tsubasa (and garaki are different ppl unlike cannon) used HIS techniques to 'save' inko (for keeping "quirkless" cuz izu didnt know till ua and given OFA by Allmight already like cannon: inko is a non controlled but semi conscious but not rrly nomu so she is gen 1/2 zombi and did die that day when she had to have izuku run and he found her help.
    izuku's first bond was Shou, then Mic! then later he and neito became Rivals in a more friendly manner cuz he did apologize after meeting after school -and becoming friends- dark shadow we love them was like plz dont break our bond and let our possibl brethrin be BORN(later named kaida) quirk literally has built in trust issues, kaminari DID join the sleep over with neito+iida+shado+fumi!
    Izuku is Nedzu's Student i adore that in fics this kne properly utilized most my characters i enjoy. , i genuinely enjoyed reading each arc and i felt so cathartic from reading mic's reaction to iida after stain at internships; i ADORED the Civil war arc.
    izuku not is in mic+eraser's custody(kinda after events and inko's full passing...) izu has her jiurnals now and is learning more about her and her truth, her secrets.
