Summary
After suffering a traumatic injury and losing her wings, Rouge is offered to stay on Angel Island to heal both physically and spiritually through the island’s natural and mystical healing properties, I.e. the master emerald. As she stays, Rouge grows closer to both the island and Knuckles, learning its history, and reflecting on her life as it has changed. Through memories of the past, seeing ghosts, and rediscovering a love for curating ancient artifacts, Rouge resolves to help restore the island’s monuments to their former glory and ensure the history of the island never dies by preserving it, finding new purpose while trying not to lose herself.
