Summary
Fanny wonders about the village at the bottom of the hill. She's never been to the village other than to hunt, so she just watches from a distance. One day, she gets curious and visits the village market. There, she meets a boy.
Lightning's family don't make a lot of money, so he has to work, sell animals and goods to help his single father and three siblings get by. He's trying to sell one of his foals when he sees a girl at the market.
Soon enough, Lightning and Fanny become friends, and after a while, lovers. But Fanny manages to keep her vampiric secret under cover until they spend a night together and Lightning finds out.
He swears to keep it a secret, but when he shows up to Fanny and Black Hole's manor with a wooden stake... will he do it?

Flowerpetal (flower), has noticed how much IslandClan has changed and when two cats fall victim to sink holes, it's up to four cats to find a new territory for the three groups of cats.
