Having severely underestimated just how draining a five day peace summit between Inazuma and Watatsumi would be, Kokomi finds herself in desperate need of something to hold on to in order to get her through this. Having the Shogun act dismissive and unpredictable in a way completely new to Kokomi is only serving to make her feel more rattled.
It's good then, that in her unpredictableness, the Electro Archon has her own musings about this summit, and what about it is of interest to her.

"She-Ra is gone," should have been a statement that ended the war. It should have been a victory. For bitter months, there was nothing Catra had wanted more than to get rid of She-Ra for good, she just wanted Adora to come back home. Adora herself wasn't supposed to disappear in the process.

Adora had been asked out a couple times just this year alone and the girls had all been smart, beautiful, and on paper even good for her.
Starla still stuck out in her mind. For all intents and purposes, she was perfect for her. They were both English majors. She got Adora’s dorky sense of humor. She was a good listener. She went out of her way to take care of Adora making sure she didn’t stress herself out to the point of passing out when she decided to take on almost a double course load sending her “take a break” reminder texts most of the semester. They even went to the same fucking horse camp growing up even though they never met while there. There was just one problem.

Adora had been in love with Catra since one brown eye and one blue eye met her own in Kindergarten, offering her two broken crayons as she wailed long after Hope had dropped her off on the first day of school.

But Adora’s got a new secret mission. Would be nice if she’d bother letting Catra in on what it is though since, you know, Catra’s kinda the key to it all…

“I’m gonna fucking kill her.” Catra shook her head, trying to wipe the stunned expression off her face. “I can’t believe she set me up on a blind date with a goddamn millionaire.”
“Yeah,” Adora said awkwardly. “Oops.”
“It’s—” Catra shook her head. “Okay, Glimmer aside, how would you paying for my tuition even work? I mean, we—we’ve only been on one date, and it’s not even over yet.”
“It’s a crazy idea,” Adora said. “I know. Just—just forget I said anything.”
Maybe it was the buzz of alcohol, or maybe it was the shock of finding out she was on a blind date with a rich person, but Catra couldn’t stop herself from blurting, “Well, I didn’t say no.”
A beat.
Adora blinked, looking up at her. “What?”
Or: Catra is a physics PhD student struggling to balance life, work, and loans. When her friend sets her up on a blind date, she doesn't expect it to be with the most attractive millionaire she's ever seen. They work out an arrangement.
