The harsh sounds of rain pelting the ground was the first thing that registered in Izara’s mind as she slowly opened her eyes to the weeping sky. The grimy and quite frankly disgusting ground was next as she propped herself up on one hand, accidentally putting her hand in some awful mixture of trash juices and street grime. Around her, she spied a dumpster, explaining the disgusting concoction she unfortunately had the displeasure of touching, and not much else in the small alley she was in. Izara walked over the entryway of the alley facing the street, clinging to the wall until she reached the mouth. She peeked her head out of the alley for a second before immediately retracting it after getting pelted by rain, retreating back to the small safe area that was sheltered by a balcony on a higher floor.

“Don’t move,” Jason whispers. “If we don’t move he won’t see us.”
“That’s for a T-rex and it’s a lie. They could very well kill you even then.”
“You are shitting on my hopes and dreams, Replacement.”

“Todd,” Damian calls and when he gets no answer from Jason, he whimpers, “Drake.”
“I can't believe I'm saying this but he’s breaking my heart, dude."
“Shut up, don’t give in. It’s a trap.” Jason says. “It’s a trap —”
They lose both the battle and the war when Damian stops waiting for them and instead stumbles forward, almost drunkenly, and unceremoniously flops himself on Jason’s front, full-on crying against his chest.
“Jesus fuck, Baby-bat. Who do I have to kill?”
(Or the one where Jason and Tim come to the Manor on the early hours of the day after a long night of patrol and they find weird new kind of life form out of this world that cries with snot and all inside the Manor. It takes them some time, because they are both dumbasses, to convince themselves that's actually their little brother crying his eyes out.)

Combining what info the internet has provided on good romantic partners, along with some of his own preferences, she’s statistically the best option.

Damian’s family are pestering him to be more of a normal teenager. He doesn’t want to be more of a normal teenager. The average teens he observes at school are brainless savages. But his family is getting so annoying about it he’d do almost anything to get them to shut up.
Then Marinette Dupain-Cheng transfers to his school. She’s intelligent, quiet, respectful of his boundaries— generally acceptable.
His family want normal teen behavior? Fine. He’ll bring a girlfriend home.
“Will you be my girlfriend?”
Marinette blinks. Ya know what? This might as well happen.
“Sure.”
Daminette as told through equally socially unaware messes, general misunderstandings of each other's skill and experience, and a total lack of awareness as to how many flowers are too many flowers.
