Prewarning, stancy at the beginning (sorry)“To what do I owe this pleasure, my liege.” His voice drops a semi-tone at the last two words, my stomach tightening as I look away from him.
“Thought you’d be lost without me.” Slips out of my mouth before I can think any better, but he just laughs and gestures towards his trailer.
“Uncle Wayne might be asleep so.. “ He trails off, dragging a ringed finger over his lips and sticking his other hand in his pocket to feel for something.
“I can come back at a better time?” I mutter hoping he disagrees with me
