As far as Sukuna was concerned, Satoru Gojo truly never existed. However, there was a sense of rivalry that always simmered in him, so deep, so innate, he wasn’t sure he’d ever be able to get rid of it entirely. But for years, four of them to be exact, at least that rivalry wasn’t given the chance to boil over.
Not until that very same white-haired, arrogant, little shit, Satoru Gojo, decided to screw everything up for Sukuna yet again.

She wondered how he had learned to be polite whilst growing up amongst rogue aberrants. Maybe the same way Samin had brutality in her blood, Min had composure.
“Yes, you do.”
Min narrowed his eyes, “You must be drunk.”
Sayeon tried not to feel uncertainty or hurt, “The one that told you to give me that note? Because I know it was you, Min, someone in my cell did, on my first day here.”
“Do you have proof that…?”
He realized his mistake the moment he spoke. That was why he trailed off, after all.

Zhongli grows even more confused.
"...Forgive me, Master Hu - I was under the impression that you were...passing out flyers for the latest discount this evening," he says slowly, brow furrowed. "How in Teyvat did you get tea all over you?"
"Well, I was passing out flyers," Hu Tao says with a sigh, shaking the sheaf of papers for emphasis. They were curled around the edges, splotched in damp amber. "...and then someone decided to throw their tea at me."
Zhongli had been lifting his own teacup for another sip. He stiffens, the porcelain stalled midway to his lips. "...someone threw tea at you?"

When Hu Tao returns to the Wangsheng Funeral Parlor at night, she’s covered in soot and smells of smoke.
Zhongli looks at her, suppresses a sigh, and wonders if he even wants to know.
“...Director Hu,” he asks, putting away some papers. “...might I ask where you’ve been the past few hours?”
“Pffft, you sound like my dad,” Hu Tao grins, drawing a hand over one sooty cheek.
