Summary

For all of Volt's charm, there are a lot of secrets behind his electric eyes, and with the sharp tongue of Eddie's, there's a warning, signaling some kind of kindness to Camilla: "Don't ask too many questions".

The Rogues are back; Tony Stark couldn't even be mad about it - it was his idea after all. He's an Avenger and that means protecting the Earth at any cost - even if he has to deal with a certain star-spangled man and his sullen sidekick. After all, he's been through worse in his life; the loss of his wife and the disappearance of his son 12 years ago. Compared to that, this would be a walk in the park.
Bucky Barnes is back on US soil as a free man. But freedom is more than just physical. On top of that, Steve is desperate for him to be the man he was before. The only problem is; that man is long dead.
Peter Parker has been through the mill but he knows he just had to adapt, roll with the (many) punches and keep going. Spider-man is his safe place now, the one time he could truly feel like himself. Like he is making a difference. He'd make sure no one would suffer like he has, even if he has to track down the perpetrator himself.

Hirotsu exhaled shakily, his hand falling back by his side. "Oh, Chuuya," He began. "He isn't your mortal enemy, he is your savior!"
Tachihara's eyes widened.
Chuuya clenched his teeth, form shaking. "You're wrong!" He shouted. "He is the traitor who left me and used me for his own gain! How could you....you-you traitor!"

But it was too late Chuuya let the last ball go. And his energy was completely consumed. Chuuya’s eyes turned back to normal. There was blood leaking from everywhere. Chuuya’s head, ears, eyes, and mouth. Chuuya coughed up blood into his hands and out of pure exhaustion and pain Chuuya fell forward hitting the ground with a thud.
“Chuuya!” Dazai ran and got to his side. He turned Chuuya over and lifted Chuuya into one of his arms. The other arm reached out to grab Chuuya’s hand. Dazai’s eyes started welling up with tears.
“Chuuya… I am so sorry… I’m so sorry I was late to support you…” Dazai said now crying. Chuuya weakly and shakily raised his hand, smiling up at Dazai as he wiped away some tears.
“I-It’s o-okay… I-I know you tried…”

Summary
(Diverges from canon before Phase Two: assumes Loki escaped from Asgard after the events of 'The Avengers' and has continued to make trouble for the team.)
After a battlefield taunt gets much more of a reaction than expected, Tony realizes that at least some of Loki's vindictiveness may be influenced by outside factors.
Since Asgard's punishments just seem to keep making Loki angrier, and it's Earth that keeps on paying the price, Tony decides to take matters into his own hands. Besides, Loki keeps showing up to talk to him, so he doesn't have much of a choice. He just wishes he knew what the Devil he was doing.
Loki's volatile and dangerous and Tony may have bitten off more than he can chew, but slowly something grows between them. Love isn't a magic cure, but between them maybe they can alleviate the symptoms.
