Summary
Fukuzawa had asked Ranpo what he wanted to do after the boy had proven himself by solving case after case the bodyguard brought him. And without even thinking about it, Ranpo answered.
"I want to be a hero."
"A hero?" Fukuzawa hadn't expected that. He had the opinion that the boy was rather selfish, so something like heroics hadn't crossed his mind at all.
"Specifically," Ranpo continued. "I want to be the hero that other heroes and police call when they cant solve a case! The one they turn when they cant handle something with their simple small minds!"
"I want to be a Detective Hero!"

Fukuzawa calls in a favor with his old friend Nedzu to get Ranpo into the UA entrance exam and the little genius catches the principals eye.
This will be a fun year in the heroics program!

Summary
When Oda Sakunosuke reaches for his friend as he steps toward a terrorist's gun, he doesn't anticipate being hit with an ability that stops his timeline and transports him 4 years into the future. Now, he must try to navigate the news that his companion, the feared mafia executive Osamu Dazai, has changed sides and become a good man.
