Summary
“I would never cheat on my wife,” Ethan said, indignant. He'd meant it, truly. "She doesn’t want me to leave,” he said, hesitant with how much he should divulge, unsure why airing out his marital troubles came so naturally. Maybe he just wanted to talk to someone who was willing to listen, however disinterested. “She doesn’t want me to touch her either."
Heisenberg said nothing, returning to his task at hand as if Ethan hadn’t spoken.
“It’s not like I haven’t thought about it,” Ethan confessed minutes later, the silence killing him more than any humiliation, “every time she pushes me away, it just…” He took a deep breath, stopping.
“One can only go so long without the touch of another,” Heisenberg concluded, a cigar in his mouth. Ethan would’ve said something about fire and oil not mixing, but he was distracted by what’d been said, agreeing.

Droplets of rain mingle with shimmering ichor, slipping past determined eyes and a panting, bruised mouth. Thick strands of blonde hair flow in elegance against violent winds, along with the loose ends of his jacket. His child clings to him, safe and sound under his protective hand. He holds out his hatchet, now cleansed of his previous crime, in front of him like a warden of armor, as the police cars settle in front of him, blue and red dancing in a tango against his trembling frame. He holds his head up with pride, refusing to back down, despite his injuries - despite 𝘦𝘷𝘦𝘳𝘺𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘯𝘨.

Seven Years have passed since Ethan took Karl's deal. Rosemary is now a young child who lives with them both in Romania. She loves both her Papa and Her Daddy. So why is Papa telling her that they have to leave Daddy? She accidentally tells Daddy. He said she didn't have to worry. Her secret was safe with him.
Papa on the other hand might be getting a lesson in manners after Rosemary has gone to bed.
