“No!” Inko quickly responded. She tried to reassure her racing heart by taking a few deep breaths. "No, I'm taking him." Just give me a bit of time and I'll be at the station. Detective Emilia, thank you for calling."

Summary
Oh no. He must look like a wreck. With snot and tears and hair all over the place. But Seungmin doesn’t look deterred. Instead he looks concerned, in the way he usually does.
Seungmin raises an eyebrow, looking like he wants to reach out to him but retracts. Hyunjin is focused on the small fidget of his fingers and deludes himself into thinking it’s a sign that Seungmin wants to comfort him, but he knows he can’t. They don’t do that. They can’t. But then, Seungmin does that face he used to make, when he gets nervous.
It’s the last straw. With a storm in his chest and tears in his eyes, Hyunjin thinks ‘fuck it’, and storms forward, arms rushing to bring Seungmin to his body.

Or: Hyunjin and Seungmin are exes. They’re done. It’s over. It’s all old news. But… when Hyunjin’s girlfriend cheats on him, he ends up running into the absolute last person he needs: his ex-boyfriend. Surprisingly, he doesn’t feel bad about it.

“Do you remember me?” There’s a gloating quality to this man’s voice, and Steven decidedly hates it. “Two years ago. Amsterdam. You ruined my entire operation in one night, but you made one mistake, Spector, you know that? You know what it was?”
“This is a rhetorical question, isn’t it?”
“It was fucking me—”
“Absolutely not,” Steven interrupts. “Marc’s standards are higher than that.”
His head gets snapped back for that, a swift punch to his jaw sending hot jolts of pain down his face. He is definitely going to bruise. It’s still kind of worth it.

Summary
Steven gets kidnapped and goes through torture to protect Marc from the pain. The other two don't take too lightly to that.

EXCERPT:Steven was too caught up in the argument, too high-strung from Marc’s words to notice as he grasped the door and swung it open.
“You think I wanted this life?” Steven ranted, throwing his hands up in frustration.
Marc noticed though, confusion written clearly on his face as he called out to the other, trying to get his altar’s attention.
“Steven!” Marc repeated raising his voice, which finally snapped Steven from his thoughts.
“What?” Steven responded, raising his voice, to which it echoed through the dimmed apartment.
“I thought you locked the door before you left.”
Steven blinked, trying to catch up to Marc’s thoughts. To which the Brit turned to stare at the door handle, which had initially been unlocked, despite remembering clearly that he had locked it.
A shooting pain erupted from the back of his head, his vision swam immediately as he tumbled to the ground. And despite Marc’s frantic calls, Steven’s eyes slumped closed.
