Summary
Kukri kept sending me media about “Robbing the Hood” and telling me to watch it, that I’d understand what was going on better if I did, but I had no interest in watching people rob Hoods, whatever those were. I didn’t like robbing in real life (I did it because I had to not because I wanted to) and I doubted I’d like it in media.
Shortly after hacking its governor module, a rogue SecUnit is involved in an ill-fated space battle and finds itself alone save for the company of a mourning raider ship bot pilot. It would like to spend the rest of its life watching media in what remains of the ship's crew quarters, but it turns out that "the rest of its life" wouldn't be long at all without the money to pay for proper maintenance. There seems to be only one way to get that money.

"House call for Charles Emerson Winchester the Third!" called Hawkeye, grinning to himself.
He knew how this would go. Charles would open the door, red in the face, and they'd argue - but the man couldn't possibly do him the discourtesy of not inviting him inside now that they were on his home turf. It would be just like old times. Enough normalcy to keep him going for a little while longer.
But the door swung open, and the tired blue eyes that greeted him did not belong to Winchester at all, but to-
"Father Mulcahy?"
He should have been pleased to see him, but something in his chest suddenly plummeted through the floor.
"Actually," came the reply, unusually loud, "it's just Francis, now."

Quite a lot of suicidal ideation and alcoholism.... So don't read when that's a problem. But Trap/hawk already reunited tho not back together so hopefully worst is written and read already.
