Summary

As night had settled over the Candy Kingdom, a crowd of chattering and whispering candy people had gathered around the bookshop, an unusual sight with it being so late.
They spoke of a monster. One with eyes made of glass, red frills on its neck and a face covered in blood. It had last been seen entering the building.
Finn thought he was ready for anything when he entered the shop, but the last thing he expected to come face to face with was an injured human.

Akari woke up to find herself in a world that wasn't her own, greeted by the sound of the ocean, the smell of salt and the sandy shore.
She has no idea how she'll get home, back to her pokemon, friends and family. She had nothing on her except for the arc phone and the mission Arceus gave her: Seek out all Pokemon.
The goal was wasn't going to be easy, but it also wasn't impossible. However being a pokemon herself may complicate things.

Irida had heard of him through the stories children told, the accounts of her fellow clansmen and the rumours spread by those who had their superstitions. Good stories, bad stories, she'd heard them all, but two things were always consistent. He always wore a long, black and torn coat, and he always had a zorua or zoroark with him.
Irida wanted answers. Who was he? Which stories were true and which were false? Was this man a true threat or had he been caught up in the overactive imaginations of those who feared the pokemon he kept company with?
And now, here she stood, the man opposite her in a clearing, the rest of his skulk peering through trees and bushes with every eye on her.
She had to make a choice.

They weren’t exactly wrong in calling him that, especially after what he did to get kicked out. Now out and alone in the snow, he has to find something to eat. He stumbles across something else instead.
