For Aziraphale's part, he loves beauty. He loves decadence and art and food, and is not in the habit of denying himself the things he wants. It’s from an unknown number. Viktor raises his eyebrow, wondering which place in town this stranger found his number. It’s been a few months since someone new has reached out, not that that’s an issue. Viktor has a roster of regulars and typically meets at least one a week but, as the semester’s come to a close, he hasn’t scheduled any recently. The idea of something new intrigues him, and he has been wound a bit tight.. He drafts out his reply, then waits a few minutes to respond. He doesn’t want to give the impression that he’s at this person's beckoned call. He still has to finish this chapter anyway.

“Finish it,” Armand says abruptly, reaching out to touch the bottom of the glass. He tilts it up to Daniel’s lips, the words an imperious command.
Daniel barely opens his mouth in time. He chokes on what’s left of the watery crème de menthe and crème de cacao, but Armand doesn’t lower the glass until he’s finished every last drop. His head swims, partly because he’s tipsy and partly because of the brain freeze.
Armand withdraws the empty glass, sets it aside, and grabs a napkin off the bar. He dabs Daniel’s lips with it, brushing the bare pad of his thumb across Daniel’s chin. His skin is warm and smooth, slightly clammy with condensation borrowed from the glass.
Oh my God, Daniel thinks. Don’t lick him don’t lick him don’t lick—
Clearing his throat, Armand sets the napkin aside. “You’re a journalist?”
“Yeah,” Daniel replies hastily, looking away. “You were listening in?”
“I caught part of your chat with Louis. You were going to interview him?”
“Was being the operative word. I’m not sure that would’ve worked out.”

“He had a lot more going on,” Armand wheezes. “But, to answer your question without consulting your abysmal recordings? Months.”
“Uh, they’re not so easily consulted at the moment,” Daniel says, trying to maintain his balance. It’s going to be a fucking miracle if he can get himself back on his feet, let alone haul a temporarily paralyzed Armand along with him. “I’m gonna let the head thing slide for the time being.”
“The head thing?”
“You. In mine.”
“How generous.”
“The way I see it,” Daniel says, “I’m your only ticket out of here if you’re in as bad a shape as I think you are. Tell me I’m wrong.”
