Jason sneezed two more times, each one more forceful than the last, before he hunted down a tissue box to blow his nose. Peter glanced over, watching as Jason struggled with the tissues.
“Getting sick, Gotham Gatsby?” Peter asked, his tone teasing but laced with genuine concern.
“No,” Jason paused, his shoulders tensing as if to fend off any further sneezes. “It’s allergies,” he added after a moment, his voice nasally, but carrying a note of finality, as if that settled the matter.
Peter raised an eyebrow. Allergies? Really?
