Yoo Joonghyuk looked at the stars and something completely involuntary left his lips.
“I want to find the loneliest star”
“Huh…? The… Loneliest star? What's that?”
He didn't respond.
He didn't even know why he said that. But now that the words were spoken the answer felt right, like it was meant to be, like all the troubles, the suffering and the time spent regressing over and over existed just so this moment could happen.
Yoo Joonghyuk looked at Kim Dokja once more, catching the reflection of one single star in his eyes. A star not visible in the sky.
“Yoo Joonghyuk...?”

Matar, manipular, amenazar. Romper lazos y usarlos a su favor para ganar. Estar siempre un paso adelante del enemigo; supervivencia, mantenerse con vida sin importar qué. Aquellos eran conceptos que Cellbit entendía y conocía como si fuesen la palma de su mano.
Después de tanto tiempo, el Purgatorio le daba la oportunidad de liberar aquel lado que había mantenido encerrado en un esfuerzo por ser alguien nuevo, de sacar la rabia y el odio que había estado resguardando tan cerca de su pecho que su sangre parecía quemar dentro de sus venas.

Fue allí cuando Roier despegó su mirada de la pared, finalmente volteando a verlo de frente. No solo era notorio el cansancio en su rostro debido a las ojeras, sino que toda su expresión reflejaba agotamiento, desde la forma en que sus labios apenas formaban una débil sonrisa hasta la falta del habitual brillo de sus ojos.
Cellbit se preguntó desde hace cuánto que estaba así y cómo es que no se había dado cuenta antes.

Then he took a deep breath and he changed. He ironed out every fold in his posture and his face until he looked like Superman again. His shoulders were broad, his gaze was confident, and his smile showed no sign of embarrassment or fear.
It’s genuinely uncomfortable to watch.
Especially since Bruce knows that change. He’s seen it in the mirror before entering parties or nightclubs. He’s always referred to it, internally, as 'putting on my better face.' The façade is his least favourite part of the day, ranking just below 'getting punched by supervillains.'
The idea that Superman is just Kal's better face, that would explain a lot.
It would also mean Bruce isn't alone.
