Summary
Thorin is an uncle and accountant, the first far more important then the second, but both are what make him...him.
His nephews are more like his sons, and Fíli, the eldest, has just learned that he'll probably never regain his sight after an accident has taken it from him.
He's not sure what to do, especially as Fíli seems to be far from accepting of this fact, so Thorin does the only thing he can do.
He focuses on getting Fíli's textbooks on audio.
Unfortunately, the only company that sells the exact ones Fíli needs is Greyhame Audio Books.
Fortunately, a friend from college (Dori Rivers), knows the sole supplier of Greyhame Audio Books.

Summary
Thorin's desire to help his nephew, Fili, who is suddenly become blind due to an accident, brings him to Bag End Bookshop, and unknowingly, changes his life, and the lives of his nephews, forever.
Bilbo has been legally blind for all of his living memory and completely blind for less time. He has adjusted (though he has moments of insecurity) and, despite this, is not allowed to chose those he romantically pursues as he has a knack of falling for people who will harm him.
When Thorin walks into his bookshop, he can't help but start to fall for the voice.
These are the tales of Bilbo Baggins, the children that he's adopted (both literally and figuratively), Thorin, Fili and Kili, and the rest of the Company (though not entirely as the Company), as they learn, live, and love.

Summary
Will isn’t really sure why he buys the bookshop, in the end. He could have bought anything with the rather hefty please-keep-your-mouth-shut settlement from the FBI – turns out that the only thing more embarrassing than locking up the wrong person is wrongly locking up one of your own people – but he’d been browsing the ads looking for a place to stay, a place not tainted by bad memories and nosy reporters and former colleagues, and he’d seen an ad for a bookshop. He'd thought that there was nothing special about it, except that it was the change he needed after weeks he spent in the bowels of the BSHCI.
That is, until it turns out that the bookshop is special, because it is haunted by one Hannibal Lecter.

Summary
Growing up, Will Graham and his father never stayed anywhere long enough for Will to join a real school choir---but he's sung in more church choirs than he can remember, his daddy made sure of it. And despite going to school for criminal psychology, he ended up taking a little turn; turns out pure empathy is useful for a lot more than profiling Criminals.
After graduating with a degree in Opera Performance, Will Graham spent a good few years slipping through his fair share of stages, (and unwanted attention,) before eventually arriving at the Baltimore Opera house. There, he ends up meeting someone very special.
And Hannibal?
Hannibal hears a man sing who can only seem to do it like the music was written for him--no--BY him, and it's an experience like no other. Take that, a beautiful voice and a face gorgeous enough to feel right at home in a Botticelli, and Hannibal's so smitten he's almost afraid to tap the glass, ruin the image.
Luckily for him, fate seems to be doing work enough to bring them together all on it's own. (:

@asswespeak on Tumblr Prompted: Soulmate Hannigram AU where Hannibal falls in love with this sweet, twitchy baker who makes the best sweets Hannibal's ever tasted. The thing is, Hannibal doesn't have a soulmark; so of course the good doctor just has to hunt whoever has Will's. After a lot of misunderstanding, (Will thinks Alana and Hannibal are going out and Hannibal thinks he is doesn't have a soulmate) Hannibal finds out Will is actually mute and on his wrist is Hannibal's very specific order. :3
