He was tired of J treating him like trash.
He was tired of V ignoring his existence.
He's had to deal with the both of them for two long years. Two years of nothing but torture...
Enough was enough...
So he left...
He left and didn't look back.
If his squad mates wanted him gone so badly, then he'd gladly leave. He'd leave and go somewhere where they cant find him.
Luckily for him, there was a massive hole in the ground, it looked like some kind of entrance. So he went in.
He went down further and further, until he reached the bottom.
Around him was a whole bunch of debris and broken equipment, nothing of note really.
But as he was exploring this facility... he found a sign on the wall.
Upon closer inspection, it had the following words...
*WELCOME TO CABIN FEVER LABS*

The plan? Flawless, in theory. Drown N in praise and affection, make him hunger for it, obsess over it. And when he inevitably fails? Snatch it away, leave him desperate for her approval, for her touch. Genius, right?
At first, it worked like a charm. The results speak for themselves. N’s productivity is off the charts now, and he’s even more loyal than ever. Problem is, time away from N is feeling more like punishment for both of them now, rather than just him.
Biscuits, she just had to start enjoying his company, didn’t she?

Summary
In a twist of fate, J’s body regenerates itself instead of the solver taking over, and she is angry. With her mind clouded with hate for the worker that killed her and her squadmate that betrayed her, J attempts to launch a sneak attack on the pair while they’re asleep, but is apprehended by N. Being the sweet cinnamon roll he is, he doesn’t have the heart to kill her, and fearing what Uzi or V might do should they learn J isn’t dead, he decides to do the only logical thing…keep her hidden away whilst caring for her.

Summary
After getting told that more disassembly drones are getting sent to the planet, Uzi comes up with what she calls the greatest idea ever: Use whatever is leftover of J to upgrade N and make him an unstoppable killing machine. However, there’s a drawback. Much to N and J’s horror, the two are now mentally linked together, two minds sharing a body.
Now that the two are stuck together, you dear readers will see if N can forgive his former tormentor, and if J can realise that her squadmate may not be as useless as he seems. Oh, and maybe see them kill some more disassembly drones along the line.
