Summary
Toni's coach has put all the athletes on a sex ban to reduce the chance of injury before the big game. Initially, Shelby is horrified at the prospect but when her best friend Fatin convinces her that good things come (pun intended) to those who wait, she thinks there might be something in playing the long game.
Unfortunately for her, Toni thinks so too, and it quickly becomes a game they're both more than happy playing dirty to win.

“I’m not! I—“ PJ bites on it for a second, “I was just intrusively thinking about kissing you over and over. Which isn’t that weird—“
“What?!”
“It’s not that weird!” PJ defends. “I mean, out of everything you just threw out there, this is probably the least bad for you.”
Hazel covers her mouth with both hands. “What the fuck.”
“I’m sorry you’re a good kisser?” PJ says. “Fuck, I dunno!”
Hazel stays like that for a second, then removes her hands to cross them over her chest, and PJ realizes Hazel wasn’t covering her mouth, she was trying to cover her face because it had gone beat red.
(Aka, after a few weeks have past and PJ still can’t get that one kiss out of her head, she decides to just keep kissing Hazel until the problem goes away.)
