Summary
Patch is a sleepy island town in Lake Borgne, Louisiana, home to Yang Xiao Long, the twenty-three-year-old college dropout with a less than stellar father-daughter relationship. Working herself to the bone, Yang has little time for anything aside from work, sleep, and sometimes eating if she's lucky. But as Mardi Gras draws near and the Schnee family along with some new faces arrive in town, Yang finds her schedule shaken up by none other than Blake Belladonna, a calm, calculating woman who, despite first impressions, ends up fast friends with the blonde.
Between Yang's brazen personality and Blake's insatiable curiosity, the pair find themselves stirring up trouble around town. Until they stumble upon something that goes a bit deeper than small-town drama. On the trail of cover-ups and conspiracy, Blake and Yang continue to dig deeper.
