Summary
He'd been human, and had a fair few brushes with his own demise. Cas knew what it felt like to face his own mortality. He knew how Dean would've felt if the Mark of Cain wasn't interfering with his ability to feel anything. If Dean couldn't enjoy his life right now, the Cas would just have to do his best to enjoy it on his behalf.
An hour in Cas's life, set vaguely during his search for a cure for the Mark of Cain toward the end of Season 10.

Summary
Dean’s been struggling for weeks to find a way to save Cas from the Empty. He’d hoped Jack would spare just a smidge of his new-found God power to do him that one last favor. In an act of desperation, he turns to Rowena for help. Rowena knows a brilliant opportunity when she sees one, but neither of them could’ve expected the cascade of side effects that threaten to undermine the natural order just when they thought they might finally have freed themselves from cosmic problems once and for all.
All signs point to Chuck’s power screwing over the universe, and very specifically the Winchesters, all over again. With nothing left to fight back with, they put all their hope in the power of love. Maybe this time it will work…

Summary
Life in a post-Chuck universe might never be dull, but sometimes they're reminded just how much that guy had fucked with their lives over the years. When helping another hunter deal with some rogue fairies brings up some past trauma for Dean, they somehow fall down a rabbit hole of fanfiction that leads them to an even stranger case. At least this time, there's the promise of bringing everyone involved a bit of closure.

Summary
I write notes before recording the SPN Georg podcast. At first I didn't bother saving them. And then I barely wrote short scripts to follow during the intro segment of the podcast. It took six and a half seasons before I started writing out full episode scripts, and I still go off topic while recording. But for the sake of transparency, for posterity I guess, and because heck, why not? I'm gonna start posting everything I have here. :D

Summary
It only upsets Dean's comfortable routine a little bit when Claire's illustrious uncle moves down to Norfolk to run his airfield. That is, until he meets his new boss face to face and can barely make words happen. Cas isn't doing much better, even if he knows exactly what he'd say to Dean if only he weren't Dean's commanding officer...
Test pilot instructor Cas (who's afraid of boats) ran from his Air Force family to join the Navy, Dean ran from his Marine Corps father to work on airplanes for the Navy— just as long as he doesn't have to fly in one, he's fine. They've met in the middle, but also in an impossible circumstance. It seems as if the one thing they want is something they can't have.
Unless solving one impossible mystery could free them...

Charlie just wants her best friend to be happy, and has been trying for four years to help Dean meet his perfect match. A last-ditch effort and a laid back holiday party in the woods could either help Dean find the Christmas spirit he'd been missing out on most of his life, or else backfire spectacularly. She could honestly use a Christmas miracle...

Summary
For a decade, Dean had been living his dream life in Montana as a national park ranger. When Sam and Eileen followed him there a few years later, he had no idea how to tell them about his side gig as the author of a wildly popular series of novels loosely based on his own experiences. Well, minus the monster hunting. He never expected them to become bestsellers—or potentially a tv series, if his agent could only convince him to out his real identity. While Dean's also writing his latest bestseller on a deadline, a misunderstanding and his own social ineptitude leave him completely cut off, aside from his new pen pal who Dean only knows as Bluebird.
Cas had spent the last two years desperate to hold Dean’s attention. Right when he felt they might be getting somewhere, Dean was called away on an emergency. Of course he had to go and lament about his troubles to a random tree, thanks to a distracting plaque inviting the public to participate in a new town project. To his surprise, he seems to hit it off— completely anonymously of course— with Western Red Cedar #2409.
Through a ridiculous series of coincidences, it could be the best thing that ever happened to either of them.

Summary
The bunker is full of dusty old artifacts. Only now that Chuck is out of the picture once and for all, and Cas is fully restored from the empty and in his first days of adjusting to humanity in Dean’s debatable care, does Sam really have a chance to start sorting through it all. The ornate little box he finds feels like the perfect gift for Eileen, but he both wants Cas to feel included and needed, and really wants a strong second opinion on anything in the bunker being safe to give anyone as a gift.
Cas declares it a perfectly normal box, until Dean reaches out to give it his own inspection, triggering a spell that will pull them through their own history and open a door to allow them the time and space to settle all the open questions between them.
Meanwhile back in the bunker, once the explosion of light resolves, Sam is left with a slightly radioactive looking box and the sinking terror that Dean and Cas had been cursed all because of him.
A little trip down memory lane, Supernatural style, ensues.

GISH 2022, Item 4: “Fanfic through the Ages”: Write a special crossover fanfic of a character from a 1990s show, book, or video game and a character from a 2000s show, book, or game meeting in a different 2010s universe.
This fic was inspired by a prompt from the Capitain of the Mishaps, Sammy (who isn’t on tumblr to tag), and dedicated to the memory of Kim Manners, who brought us both the X-files and Supernatural universes. <3

Summary
“Sam also suggested we might find some assistance nearby,” Cas said, now that he seemed sure that Dean was at least considering the mission. “A couple of retired hunters you helped once?”
“Jesse and Cesar?” Dean asked, and Cas nodded. “Yeah, they got out of hunting a few years back, started a horse ranch. I wouldn’t drag them back for an actual hunt, but exploring a cave doesn’t sound too bad.”
“Their ranch isn’t far from the capitulum’s coordinates, and since there’s no road to our destination, Sam thought rather than hike through the desert it would be easier to tackle the journey on horseback. Especially if we find anything that needs to be brought out again.”
Dean wondered for a second if his entire body was glowing, because even the thought of seeing Cas on horseback— especially if he could convince Cas to get himself a decent pair of boots and a better hat than the one he picked up at that motel gift shop that one time— well... Dean had to beat those thoughts down enough to be able to speak again. He cleared his throat and tried to sound normal, and probably failed.
“Yeah, well, I guess I should give the guys a call and see if they’re open to a visit.”

Summary
When Dean opened up shop as Mr. Fix It, he never expected his biggest, slowest, and possibly most important project would be the quietly beguiling owner of the bar at the other end of the strip mall. Getting Steve to open up to him would prove tougher than hacking into the NSA.
Five years after fleeing his corrupt family and starting life over as an unassuming bartender named Steve, Cas still regretfully maintained his policy of keeping everyone at arm's length-- most regretfully of all, Dean. It seems like a sound strategy for survival until his old life comes crashing through his front door.
Are there any problems too big for Mr. Fix It to solve?
