Many wonder what exactly goes on behind those shiny black glass walls. Everyone assumes chaos , an HR nightmare and a lawyers playground. Through various accounts from personnel and the Boss himself the world finally gets answers. Truth be told Katsuki has no idea how he’s doing this either, but he is. Probably helps that he’s fucking amazing.

When a song plays at a party Sero realizes how close to home it hits as he watches Bakugou let loose for the first time. They weren’t close before the war, maybe it was a blessing in disguise that at the time, he was indifferent to the person they almost buried twice last year. He wouldn’t survive losing the friendship they had now.
“You know,” he begins slurring his words ever so slightly, "this song just reminded me I forgot to tell you something.”
“What?” Katsuki hesitantly asks, no doubt fearing it would put him in the same state as Hanta. The guy smiles fondly at him before taking another swig of his beer.
“I’m really fucking glad you’re here.”

“You don’t get it, you damn nerd.” Katsuki barks some of that fire, disturbing the eerily calm aura the blond had about him since they returned.
“I’m not going down there to make good last memories with my fucking friends. I’m not granting the universe any favors by giving in and acting like that’s a viable outcome. Fuck all of that!”
A dry laugh escapes Izuku's pursed lips as he floats forward a little before catching himself.
“Kacchan It’s a little late for that; you got kidnapped, then you got stabbed. Then a city got destroyed, and I ran away. I think they’re past worrying about saying goodbyes and making the most of things. We’re all just trying to live our lives knowing that reality.”
Izuku has been back at U.A for three days, he joins a brooding blonde on the roof of the dorms for some fresh air and a candid heart to heart.

He was only a breath away. One wrong (right) move and they’d connect fully. It was tempting, but there was a massive fucking tube that was buried somewhere in his heart in Katsuki’s hands. He was a lot of things, but willing to rip a garden hose out of his chest was not one of them.
