Jax stares at the white screen. To think it gave them hope just moments before. To think he-
He stares at the table, the buttons in his peripheral. His head is buzzing, he wants to laugh, he wants to cry, he wants to get out of here.
It’s horribly, horribly quiet.
“I really thought…” Gangle whimpers.
He can feel eyes burning into his back. He doesn’t want to do this right now. Not again.
Not that anyone cares what he wants.
Zooble’s voice bounces into his ear. “What the [BOINK!] was that, Jax?” they seethe.

“Jax?” the second voice says. His eyes snap toward her voice, and he sees a strange, cartoonish jester. She's looking at him with a furrowed brow and worried eyes. “Are you… okay?”
It clicks into place. They are talking to him. Jax is him.
“Why are you calling me…” he starts to say, then trails off when he realizes.
He can't remember his name.
Or, Jax loses all memories of his time in the circus.

Siffrin slips up and the King finds out he's looping. The King decides that he wants Siffrin taken care of, and opts to do such himself, essentially erasing them.
Siffrin, although unable to be touched, seen, heard, or remembered by his party, is still present.
And still has to help their family make it through the House.
