Summary
Mankind knew that they could not change society, so instead of reflecting on themselves, they blamed the beasts. But they saw beauty in the lives of beasts, and could not lie to themselves about it.
Nestled deep in a remote, secluded part of the English countryside, two brothers sit atop an old, crumbling church as they cherish their days of peace. However, where one lives his life in peace, the other struggles with who they are, fighting to end a supersition they've been hiding from for their entire life; twin boys born will always bring tragedy and misfortune. Under threat of death, one brother is made to dress as a girl, raised to be prim and proper. While one fights, the other rages against it in silent resentment towards the world, and parents, that would force this upon the only person he's ever cared for.
Years later, however, when one finds who they truly are within, the other returns from the shadows. Where Brother and Brother once were united in soul, can Brother and Sister maintain?
