Summary
The Shrieking Shack incident should have ended with distance, detentions, and House rivalries resuming as usual. Instead, Severus Snape wakes each day to pain that refuses to fade: A curse woven into blood, bone, and memory. Desperate for answers, he buries himself in secret research, isolation, and the dark corners of the library.
Remus Lupin carries his own guilt and hunger, tethered to the cycle of the moon and terrified of the harm he can’t undo. When their paths collide, the truth becomes unavoidable. Healing is far more complicated than an apology or a potion.

“Why is it connecting us?” asks Remus, his voice safe and demure in Snape’s ear, his gold eyes bright with adventurous urgency.
“It can be difficult to discern,” replies Severus as he relays the same breed of oddity back to him — although copiously subdued — “but it’s doing an irritatingly thorough job of carrying through.”

𝐈𝐭'𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐲𝐞𝐚𝐫 𝟏𝟗𝟖𝟏. A new acquaintance to the territory of teaching, an old friend to grief and misfortune, and entirely off on the wrong foot, twenty-one-year-old Professor Severus Snape reverts to an old charm of his — a charm for things that are lost — in attempt to find the one book in which he wrote it. But when the spell starts working against him and mysterious things start happening to his own students, it seems he has no choice but to form an alliance with an old schoolyard enemy in order to find a culprit, a book, and his own identity. And one thing is for certain: the irritating charm of Remus Lupin is nearly impossible to refuse.

Summary
Severus Snape never wanted to be a hero; that role belonged to the Gryffindors.
When a split-second decision to save Marlene McKinnon goes wrong, it feels less like doing the right thing and more like being punished for it.
With consequences closing in, Severus plans to keep his head down, survive his final year, and leave Hogwarts for good. Caught between the pull of the Dark and deliberate neutrality, he intends to leave behind his bullies, his mistake with Lily Evans, and the expectation that he will choose a side at all.
Then Sirius Black gets in the way.
Dosed with an aphrodisiac and trapped in a broom cupboard, one forbidden encounter entangles magic, survival, and desire in ways Severus can no longer control.
They cross a line neither of them can come back from.

Summary
As requested by LadyJadeRains! What would have happened if Will's encephalitis was a little worse, and the psychic driving had been a little more effective, such that Will genuinely believed that he had committed the Copycat Killings and also murdered Abigail Hobbs?
Will is having a very terrible time. He believes he is the Copycat. He believes he killed and ate his surrogate daughter.
Matthew Brown provides comfort inside the BSHCI, and Will feels as though he doesn't deserve the kindness, the support, the physical touch. Hannibal Lecter provides his own comfort, when he can, but he seems frustrated about the way the trial is progressing and Will's perception of himself. Both men want more from him and Will, lonely, vulnerable, desperate for connection, is reaching back.
However, neither of them are the sharing type, and both of them are perceptive enough to see what the other is doing. They will have to confront each other eventually, but when they do, will they be able to find an alternative means of resolving things? Who, truly, has the right to possess Will Graham?
And, more importantly, is Will going to agree?
