Raised by his mother far away from both Olympus and the Underworld, a strange series of events leads Zagreus to meeting a faceless, nameless Chthonic god.

Summary
Thanatos is worried for Zagreus after hearing he has encountered our favourite Champion of Elysium, backed by Poseidon. He comes to realise that he really doesn't need to be.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~“And what am I to you exactly, Zagreus?”
The words flash across Zag’s face in a quick tense, and Than knows that the last time he said those words hasn’t been forgotten.
“Oh, Than.” Zagreus steps forward and reaches a palm to cup his cheek, eyes gentle, skin like fire. “What aren’t you to me? I love everything about you.”
Than turns with a tsk and tries to glower, softening despite himself into the warmth of Zag’s touch. Everything?
The halls are still empty.
He turns back, catching Zagreus’s gaze as he snatches his wrist and locks it in place. Zag’s lips fall open with ever so slight of an oh as Than turns to press a kiss in the centre of his palm, as soft as a question.
“Really. Tell me more.”

Summary
It occurs to Thanatos for probably the millionth time in their lives that Zagreus might actually be insane, which should put a slight damper on a particularly recent and important revelation of Than’s. It doesn’t.
Five times Zagreus tries to flirt with Thanatos and the one time Thanatos actually does something about it.
