On the night of October 9th, 2001, boy genius Jeremie Belpois went to the abandoned Renault factory on the river in secret to solve a mystery that had dominated his waking thoughts for the past few weeks.
He goes to class the next day traumatized and scarred by what he saw down there, and soon, strange things begin happening around Boulogne-Billiancourt. Strange supernatural disasters, villains and monsters straight out of the pages of comic books. And along with them, a mysterious pink-haired girl, who seems to have a connection to these strange occurrences, the factory, and Jeremie himself.
And, unbeknownst to everyone else, three others have taken notice of what's going on.
Bear witness to the story of how these kids, in one way or another, joined forces and became the team they are today.

Jeremie was sitting in the factory, his legs dangling off the side of the platform, lost in thought. He had been suffering traumatic episodes long before XANA had been defeated, but now with the fiend gone, they were much harder to ignore. Nightmares, panic attacks and feelings of pure terror and dread had seemingly permanently made their homes inside his brain. The worst part is that it was all his fault, at least in his mind. He blames himself for everything. As he hears footsteps behind him and sees the man sit down a mere two meters away, he feels like his train of thought is about to crash.
