“I guess a part of me is scared that I’ll just end up being alone again,” Enid whispers. Wednesday eyes her carefully, watching Enid crash into her bed. Enid’s gaze is fixed at the ceiling, her eyebrows crease together as she fiddles with her fingers in a nervous stupor.
“You do not ever need to worry about that, Enid.”
This catches the werewolf’s attention. She looks at Wednesday, curiosity flickering in her eyes, mingled with something softer.
“So long as I’m around—be it living or dead—you will never be alone.” Wednesday says, her voice low but firm, each word landing with the weight of a vow. “You will always have me.”

Summary
The term is over earlier than usual at Nevermore Academy, and everyone’s scrambling to leave before the next monster shows up. Predictably, Wednesday Addams wants nothing to do with goodbyes, or Xavier’s hopeful cellphone gift.
Enid Sinclair is packing her bags for San Francisco, drawing in glitter. She feels more confident after wolfing out and successfully defeating a hyde. A particularly gruesome encounter with a raven-delivered invitation leaves her squealing.
Enid's officially invited to the Addams estate for El Día de los Muertos. Because, apparently, saving Wednesday’s life makes you family.

Summary
Wednesday was reluctant to allow Enid to apply makeup anywhere on her face, let alone near her eyes. The young wolf was jittery and wild, and while the seer had no problem with eyes being gouged out, she would prefer to keep hers. Still, all it took was a soft touch to her upper arm and what could only be referred to as puppy-dog eyes for her to relent. Wednesday pretended to be cold and slightly annoyed, but she could not help but miss the gentle touch as soon as it left.
