My continuation of the ending for Don't Let the Forest In
I loved this book so so so so so so so much! So here is how I choose to continue it
Since the book was left on an open ending, here is what I believe happened if the Forest's magic, and Andrews Heart is allowing the two to live, so long as they remain in the forest.
There may be bits and chapters that are of an alternate ending I have, where the notebook was truly the heart and the two boys runaway and live happy-ish

He was so excited, he could not be still. In the week that had passed since he and Mek had boarded the Passenger Liner "Étoile de l'Océan" he had already explored all the nooks and crannies of the ship and made friends with some of the officials as well, much to the amusement - and in one specific case jealousy - of Mek. But still he couldn't manage to just sit back in his cabin and relax, like Mek kept asking him to do.
France was waiting for him, Paris was waiting for him.

Let’s be like your parents, all boring and cute.”
“I don’t think I’ve ever even seen my parents hold hands,” Min-Gi says unhelpfully. “All they do is sleep in the same bed and talk about the news.”

ryan attends a wedding. it just so happens that min-gi is attending the same wedding too. best to just bury the hatchet and date for the week, right?
