Fifty years later and his life still hadn’t changed. He was still in pain. He was still scared. He was still haunted by memories that refused to die.
But everything changed that one dark night because there was something – no – someone, that needed him to change his own life with his own hands. To grow. To make life fair. And he would. He would make life fair for the little baby he had in his arms, even if it killed him.

Summary
No matter how much Jeremy and Michael tried, their efforts never seemed to be enough. They had their own little garden filled with flowers. They took the best care of it, gave the plants everything they could have ever needed. And it was beautiful. But that didn't matter. In the end, nothing mattered. Every single flower died, one by one until there was nothing left. Nothing but the glochids of their love.
