Summary
Life is hard in the Periphery, even for the nations that have managed to scrap together something resembling a functioning government.
The Fronc Reaches are plagued with pirates, and just want to be left alone. Their peacekeeping force, the Colonial Marshals, are a little rough around the edges, but function well enough to protect the citizens from pirate attacks.
Two of these Marshals are about to ambush a convoy of said pirates. How much resistance can a few vehicles really put up against fully functional Battlemechs?
