Summary
Xaden Riorson thought he had figured out how to survive in this place. Now in his final year at Basgiath War College, he’s risen to the rank of Wingleader. He is focused on one thing: getting every kid of the rebellion bonded to a dragon. Then the real work can begin.

This follows the dialogue and events of Rebecca Yarros’s Fourth Wing, retold from Xaden’s perspective. This was written prior to the release of Iron Flame, so all theories and speculation are my own and unconfirmed. It's my best guess at exploring how Xaden might have felt throughout the story and features new scenes with Liam, Garrick, Imogen, Sgaeyl and Tairn. Major plot spoilers from the very first chapter.

So, she waited for Leah to go and talk to Shelby. She waited while Dot went to remind Shelby to come back soon because it’s dangerous to be out alone at night. She waited until the other girls fell asleep one by one around the camp fire. She waited until Shelby finally came back and saw how everyone was huddled asleep around the fire, leaving her no choice but to sit beside Toni.

Summary
Dani and Jamie are the foster parents to fifteen-year-old Toni Shalifoe. These are snippets of their lives together. Lots of drama, lots of angst, lots of love.
Basically I have major writers block and wanted to see these two universes collide.
Also, Jamie and Dani did meet at Bly Manor; there is no Lady of the Lake; and they live in Vermont and run The Leafling together. This takes place in present day, so Dani and Jamie are legally married.
