Summary
Fresh off his most recent regeneration, the Doctor has more changes to cope with than just his face. Something is wrong with Rose and he can't seem to figure out how to fix it. With a new companion, a new horrifying prophecy, and River Song appearing almost everywhere he turns, the Doctor does what he does best--he runs.
This is a Pond-Era rewrite where Rose never got separated from the Doctor. It is Part 5 of a series, so while you are welcome to try to jump in here, I make no promises about how much sense this will make. While still following the order of the show as best we can, we did leave canon behind a long time ago.

Summary

But at least this time the hallucinations aren't trying to blame him for everything he's ever done wrong, so it won't hurt to let the Rose his mind obviously conjured up stay with him for a bit, right?

Contrary to popular belief, Amelia Pond didn't bite all of her therapists. Only the ones that told her the Doctor wasn't real. She actually really liked her last therapist-she even invited the woman to her wedding. It was just a shame she couldn't make it and missed the chance to meet the Doctor. But when the Doctor finds out about her, he decides they should stop by and surprise the woman to see if she really believed Amy or was just humoring her to avoid being bitten like all the others. But none of them are prepared for Dr. Wolf's reaction when they land in her living room.

What if Rose handled the events of Canary Wharf just a little differently? What if Bad Wolf made it so that Rose was able to hold on just a little bit longer.
