Summary
“So,” Hob says, sliding into the seat opposite, own mug in hand. “Matthew says there’s some sort of problem in the Dreaming?” It doesn’t seem like Dream can be drawn into small talk this evening: best to get straight on with it.
Dream sighs.
“Matthew is entirely too free with his words. And I would not call it a ‘problem’”
The story of how Dream of the Endless learns to love a little boy. And a man. And maybe himself too. Just a little bit.
All in the month of December.

Part way through his quest to find the chapel of the Black Knight, Sir Robert and his bard encounter a very angry giant who is hell bent on destroying the nearby town of Shrewsbury
A 'missing scene' from my fic, Sir Robert and the Black Knight, but can probably be read just fine without reading that first. This is a short retelling of the Legend of the Giant and the Cobbler, but Dreamling.

Summary
His words are not having the intended effect. They are bringing Lucienne no comfort. Perhaps.. He swallows slowly, fingers twitching. In the countless years of her service, they had so rarely touched. Morpheus had built up walls around himself and she had always been respectful of his space.
This was a gulf of Morpheus’s own making. Lucienne would never bridge this gap between them- but… he could.
---
Several years after the events of s2, Morpheus and Lucienne meet again.

Summary
---Having had confirmation from his lover that he rather liked (“Did not mind”) period pieces, Hob set out indulging him with a carefully curated selection of mid-90s BBC dramas, mini-series, and films of the requisite genre.
Pride and Prejudice was all well and good, and they would get round to it, but it wasn’t a patch on, say, Middlemarch… and for epic scale, the adaptation of Ken Follet’s The Pillars of the Earth couldn’t be beaten.---
Morpheus and Hob enjoy some movie nights together (or mornings, when they should have been unpacking in their new home) only Hob has a *slightly* ulterior motives for choosing the shows that he does.

Summary
Crowley's a busy demon, and he's got a soul quota to fill. He'd just rather be filling it somewhere with better weather and better wine than London.
This temptation was meant to be quick and easy: instigate a tavern brawl, pick up a new recruit for Hell, and then set off sharpish for warmer climes.
Shame his plans are about to get derailed by two Endless walking into a bar...

Summary

Hob indulges him... even though he's rather frightened of heights. And especially frightened of a certain knife-edged arête on Wales' most famous peak.

Summary
When a strange and unearthly Black Knight lays down a challenge at King Arthur's court- where he will allow himself to be struck by one blow, on the condition that he will be allowed to return the strike in a year and a day- only Sir Robert Gadling is young and foolhardy enough to accept... he expected to impress his leige-lord with his boldness, he did not expect the beheaded corpse of the Black Knight to follow through with his invitation and demand a reckoning with Hob on the following New Year's Day....
Accompanied by a mysterious bard, Sir Robert sets out to meet his fate. Upon the road to the Black Chapel he will face dragons and dangers aplenty; fantastical castles, mighty lords, beautiful ladies (and an exchange of winnings that ups the stakes every day) before he finally faces down with the Black Knight again.

Summary
Lord Morpheus is the eldest child of the Earl and Countess of Endless, an ancient family hiding huge debts behind a fine name. As an omega, Morpheus cannot inherit his father's title or the family's ancestral home. His function is simple: secure a match that is both socially advantageous and financially viable, thus securing the future of the estate and the title of Earl of Endless for his offspring. The family believe that their troubles are solved when Morpheus dutifully (if reluctantly) becomes engaged to his wealthy cousin, Patrick. However, all their carefully laid plans are thrown into chaos when Patrick drowns on the ill-fated Titianic.
Now Morpheus is navigating treacherous waters of his own and discovering how tight the ties of family loyalty bind him. Will the charming and handsome Duke of Crowborough prove his saviour? Or will the wealthy yet odious Sir Roderick Burgess ensnare Morpheus in plans of his own?
Meanwhile, the family’s new chauffeur, one Robert Gadling, is muddying the waters of Morpheus’s existence even further- where is the line between a servant and a friend? Can Hob help Morpheus see that life exists beyond the confines of family and function?
