Summary
This is the fourth book in the series, picking up immediately after the events of Star Trek: First Contact and spanning some time, until after the events of Star Trek: Insurrection.
Jean-Luc and Beverly are on the outs again, determined to be friends. Jean-Luc meets Anij, although by this time Beverly has met her own special someone as well.
However events collude to bring this fated pair together again.
This story spans quite a long time frame - most of the Dominion War occurred between the two movies, and I plan for this story to end some time before the final movie, Nemesis (which was a couple of years more). So please be patient, there will be a slow burn the first few chapters, but the story will be more action packed in the latter half.
Overall there are almost four years to cover in this story, and it might be a bit lengthy because of that. This will be the second to last time that they get together then break up again, before the final fifth time, after Nemesis. I hope you enjoy!
