Summary
This is a tale of the impossible. Of impossible gods, and impossible love, conquering impossible odds. I tell it from my own memory, and the memory of my loved ones. It is, according to Thoth, impossible to get an accurate description of events from non-objective observers. But I am the God of Impossible things, and have been asked to tell the story of how I became so. The stories of how Horus became the King of the Gods, how the afterlife was forever changed and how Creation was almost consumed by Apophis, are all intertwined with my own. It involves betrayal, loss, hope and love. I hear all the best stories do. And perhaps it is because this is my own story, but I do believe it is one of the best. Horus agrees, of course. I shall tell it, and let you decide for yourself.

Summary
Nephthys, goddess of protection and fertility, begged to the great sun god of Ra to grant her a child, despite her husband being cursed to never have a child by Ra himself. Ra grant her wish, with the promise that she’d never tell Set and in turn Ra promised that Nephthys would know a mother’s love, a mother’s sacrifice, and a mother’s sorrow.
Bek was given away at birth, but he still remembered his mother’s voice and heard her calls in his sleep. He was raised by thieves, and at the age of 13 he was punished as a thief. He cried out for the gods to help him, but none came and no one help. Then Nephthys finally knew a true mother’s sorrow when she was rejected by her child.
But now Set is King, Nephthys is presumed died, and Bek surprisingly wish to spare Horus of the same fate, even after learning of the god’s deception. Now Bek can only hope that the desert god Set desired a son enough to grant him a wish or two.

During the day of your auction, you were bought by a striking individual, and instead of being treated as you formerly were, you were given a choice.
You could flee and live a normal life, or work at the orphanage that the individual owned. Owing your life to them, you agree to work at the orphanage, finding it hard not to comply with what your previous owners taught you.
