Summary
"I don't know why Lord Third bothered puttin' us on a team with him." Bdubs can't even bring himself to say Joel's name, face scrunching like he'd just tried Etho's latest attempt at cooking. He doesn't wanna risk it. Not when a part of him wholeheartedly believes Joel would appear at the first mention of his name.
…or maybe that's the devil. Either way Bdubs isn't taking the chance.
"I can't work with a freaking horse killer. That's cruel!"

Joel has got to be the worst genin- no, the worst shinobi in all of history. At least, Bdubs think so. He just needs to convince Etho of that too.

Summary
Etho braid gems hair. It's easy. A repetitive motion.and one he's done plenty of times before at that. It's not the first time he's braided the princess hair, and it certainly won't be the last. He tries to focus on the way his hand move, and the way gem relaxes. And not the creeping feeling of eyes watching him. He can feel them in the side of his neck. He's felt them ever since they left. Clearly gem has yet to notice or at least she hasn't said anything. But it's all tho can think about, the fact that he knows someone is out there. He knows they have their eyes on the two. And he knows it's unlikely that they have good intentions. It's unlikely that they wish anything good on the two.
Etho breathes in through his mouth, out through his nose. And etho just keeps on braiding gems hair. Ignores the creeping up his spine as the princess starts to doze. Humming a soft tune under his breath that sounds more like Static than anything else as grabs the ribbon, tying off the braid with a bow. He quickly finds he doesn't have the heart to move gem when she falls back into his shoulder.

Summary
A compilation of my Hermit-Circus AU! Where every Hermit has a part and role. The story is a combination of fluff and angst, all involving fun circus events. The Greatest will always remain the first story in this series, as it started this whole thing and is technically the introduction for everyone. Everything else is semi-chronological. A lot of the other one-shots can easily be read as standalone (i believe? Though context does improve the reading experience for this). Written in both past tense (for all backstories/way they joined except Mumbo's) and present tense.
This is a wonderful circus! We have twin trapeze artists, a fortuneteller, stilt walkers, an aerialist and more! As for which Hermit is which (and trust me, they all get a special, silly role), only the stories will tell.
Ships are primarily familial and platonic, and at the moment that will not change. This segment will be updated if this does change to tell what romantic ships can be seen.
